Area of Jurisdiction:

Comprised of the entire Basilan Province. Basilan Province is an Island Province, it has seven (7) Municipalities, namely: Isabela, Lamitan, Maluso, Tuburan, Sumisip, Tipo-Tipo and Lantawan. Isabela being the capital town and where the district office is located. The district is bounded to the North by Basilan Strait; to the East by the Moro Gulf; to the West by the Sulu Sea; and to the South by the Celebes Sea. To the far Southwest are the clusters of island provinces that compose of Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.
